The lock cylinder and pole are made of zinc alloy treated with a special antirust coating, while the outer rubber coating ensures comfort of use. For greater security, the lock itself allows for a fivedigit code and 100,000 possible combinations, which is 10 times more secure than a standard fourdigit code lock. The code reset function has been subjected to 5,000 test cycles to ensure the highest standard of durability.
Using the Xiaomi lock is extremely simple: when the initial code 00000 is aligned, turn the wheel 90° clockwise, set the new desired code, turn the wheel again 90° counterclockwise, and insert the lock cylinder into the body to complete the installation process.
