The Master Lock Disc lock M40EURD with 70 mm wide stainless steel body is particularly solid, reliable and corrosion resistant. The concealed design minimises the visibility of the shackle and protects against attempts to break it open with bolt cutters. The octagonal shackle with a diameter of 10 mm is 16 mm long and made of ToughCut boron carbide, which is 50% harder than hardened steel and offers maximum resistance to cutting and sawing. The 4pin lock cylinder prevents the lock from being picked, while the two ball bearing locks protect against the lock being broken or smashed. The key channel cover provides the best weather protection and the reinforced bumper guard protects against scratches.
