Opis i karakteristike
Intel Optane memory supported
Intel Optane memory is a revolutionary new class of persistent memory that sits between system memory and data storage to accelerate system performance and responsiveness. Combined with the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver, it seamlessly manages multiple tiers of storage while providing a virtual drive for the operating system. This ensures that frequently used data is in the fastest storage tier. Intel Optane memory requires specific hardware and software configuration.
Intel Turbo Boost Technology
Intel Turbo Boost Technology dynamically increases a processor's frequency as needed by taking advantage of headroom in temperature and performance to provide more speed when needed and more power efficiency when it's not.
Intel vPro platform qualification
Intel vPro Technology is a collection of security and manageability features built into the processor that address four critical areas in IT security: 1) threat management, including protection against rootkits, viruses and malware, 2) identity protection and website access points, 3) protection of confidential personal and business data, 4) remote and local monitoring, remediation and repair of personal computers and workstations.
Intel Virtualization Technology (VTx)
With Intel Virtualization Technology (VTx), one hardware platform can be used as multiple "virtual" platforms. It offers improved manageability through less downtime and maintaining productivity by moving computing operations to separate partitions.
Intel Directed I/O Virtualization Technology (VTd)
Intel DirectedI/O Virtualization Technology (VTd) continues the existing support of virtualization solutions for the IA32 (VTx) and systems with Itanium processors (VTi) and adds new support for I/O device virtualization. The Intel VTd can help users improve the security and reliability of systems and the performance of I/O devices in virtualized environments.
Intel VTx with Extended Page Tables (EPT)
Intel VTx with Extended Page Tables (EPT), also known as Second Level Address Translation (SLAT), accelerates memoryintensive virtualization applications. Using Extended Page Tables on Intel Virtualization Technology platforms reduces overall storage and power costs and increases battery life through hardware optimization of page table management.
Intel TSXNI
The Intel Transactional Synchronization Extensions New Instructions (Intel TSXNI) is a set of instructions for multithreaded performance scaling. This technique improves efficiency in parallel operations through improved control of locks in software.
Intel 64
When coupled with the appropriate software, the Intel 64 architecture enables 64bit processing on servers, workstations, PCs and mobile platforms. Intel 64 improves performance by allowing the system to address more than 4 GB of virtual and physical memory with this processor expansion .
instruction set
An instruction set is the set of basic commands and instructions that a microprocessor understands and can execute. The displayed value indicates which Intel instruction set this processor is compatible with.
Extensions to the instruction set
Instruction set extensions are additional instructions to increase performance when performing the same operations on multiple data objects. These may include SSE (Streaming SIMD Extensions) and AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions).
inactivity status
Sleep states (Cstates) are used to conserve power when the processor is idle. C0 is the operating state, ie the CPU is performing useful tasks. C1 is the first idle state, C2 is the second, and so on, with more power saving actions being taken for higher Cstate numbers.
Advanced Intel SpeedStep Technology
The Advanced Intel SpeedStep Technology is an advanced functionality for the combination of high performance with the lowest possible energy consumption required on mobile devices. Traditional Intel SpeedStep technology simultaneously switches the voltage and frequency between high and low levels based on processor load. Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology builds on this architecture and leverages design strategies such as separation between voltage and frequency changes, and clock partitioning and recovery.
thermal monitoring technique
Thermal monitoring technologies protect the processor package and the system from temperaturerelated failures via thermal management functions. An onchip digital temperature sensor detects the temperature of the core, and thermal management features lower the package's power consumption when necessary, reducing the temperature to stay within normal operating limits.
Intel Identity Protection Technology
Intel Identity Protection Technology is an integrated security technology that provides a simple, tamperproof way to protect your online customer and business information from threats and fraud. Intel Identity Protection Technology provides hardwarebased authentication of a user's PC when accessing websites, financial institutions, and network services. The technique verifies that it is not malware attempting to log in. Intel Identity Protection Technology can be an important part of twofactor authentication solutions that protect your information during website and corporate logins.
Intel Stable Image Platform Program (SIPP)
The Intel Stable Image Platform Program helps your organization select and deploy standardized, stable image PC platforms for a minimum of 15 months.
