The device offers optimum control thanks to a slim and ergonomic bar handle, which enables precise cuts and curved cuts even in the tightest of spaces. The adjustable speed and 4stage pendulum action ensure excellent work results with a wide range of materials without timeconsuming reworking. 
Thanks to the quick and toolfree saw blade change, materials such as steel, aluminum, plastic or wood can be processed flexibly. The automatic saw blade lock makes it easier to change sharpedged saw blades without having to change your grip, thus minimizing the risk of injury. An integrated dust extraction adapter also ensures clean and ergonomic working.
The 4stage pendulum action enables precise adjustment of the cutting speed, cutting performance and cutting pattern to the respective material. An intelligent LED work light ensures optimum illumination of the work area and offers additional convenience thanks to the overhead switchoff function. The concentrated exhaust air from the fan wheel keeps the cutting edge free of dust, ensuring a clear view at all times. Cold cuts ensure virtually spark and burrfree results, which further increases safety and efficiency.
Electronic user protection with overload cutout and restart protection protect the device and user. The option of setting mitre angles of 0°, 15°, 30° and 45° on both the left and right considerably extends the range of applications. Additional features such as chip break protection and a glide shoe for sensitive surfaces ensure precise and gentle processing results. 
With the standard Tshank saw blade holder and an extensive range of accessories, which includes saw blades for metal, wood and plastic, the device is equipped for a wide range of applications. It is compatible with all 18 V AMPShare ProCORE batteries and chargers, which are also suitable for 18 V Bosch professional tools. The "Electronic Cell Protection" (ECP) protects the battery against overloading, overheating and deep discharge.
