The ground HSS twist drill drills in metal with highest precision. The selfcentering drill tip with crossgrinding and a point angle of 135 degrees allows perfect centering without wandering. The crossground drill tip eliminates the need for center punching or predrilling up to 10 mm diameter. This precisionground HSS steel drill drills 40% faster and requires 50% less contact pressure than conventionally ground HSS drills. It is suitable for drilling holes in alloy and nonalloy steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, malleable iron, nonferrous metals and hard plastics. The shank is cylindrical (the shank diameter corresponds to the drill bit diameter). It is used with drill stands and drill screwdrivers.
